How it Works

Step 1

Identification of Sites and Energy Tariffs

Preferred location of IPS installations is identified and validated. Electricity bills for the meters serving those areas are provided to NOX Energy for upload into the NMS. Specific tariffs and access can be set for unique user groups.  G. employees could be free and tap on with their employee RFID card, hotel guests could be discounted with a code, or non-validated parking could be charged at a premium.

Step 2

Charge and Manage Payment

Once the IPS is installed in the designated location, the end user can download the NOX Energy App, tap a credit card, or tap an RFID chip, to start a charging session.

Charging is easy; each user pays for the energy consumed. All usage data will be available on the NOX Energy App, although the app is not required to start a charging session.

Each IPS is individually tracked to allow Strata/site management to have a complete, transparent view of the charging ecosystem.

Each IPS and site is unique, and the NOX Energy App in conjunction with the NMS creates an easily manageable charging ecosystem.

Step 3

Site Reimbursement

At the end of the billing cycle (normally monthly or quarterly), the meter proprietor (typically a body corporate or management company) is automatically reimbursed for the energy consumed throughout the period. Our dynamic control system will accommodate the fluctuating price of electricity during both peak and non-peak hours.

The end user pays for the energy they consume, and the meter proprietor is fully reimbursed!
